Description:
Winchester Model 12 "Angelo Bee" in 20 Gauge. Aftermarket small rnd. donut base Simmons vent rib. White target front sight with brass mid bead. Action has the custom hand engraving by former FN master engraver Angelo Bee in the basic 12-5 style with gold borders. The left panel features the standard woodland scene with a pointer and 2 flushing quail. The right panel has a custom pasture scene with 4 flying doves. Highlights of scroll engraving continue to upper and lower receiver areas, as well as trigger guard bow and receiver extension. The receiver extension also has an added pigeon. Custom beavertail forearm and steel capped pistol grip stock of fancy black walnut. The forearm has 2 panel hand checkering. The stock has pigeon style hand checkering. LOP: 14 1/4" over Winchester buttplate. DAC: 1 9/16". DAH: 2 3/4". Stock has a neutral cast. Mfg. in 1940. CONDITION: near excellent as upgraded, retaining most restored metal finish showing only slight slide wear on the mag. tube. Wood has very good custom refinish. Sound mechanics. Bright near excellent bore. No box. 20 Gauge
