.45 caliber, 5.5" barrel length, S/N 10289, Barrel marked under the ejector housing, DFC3642, the frame with early two line patent markings and U.S. The frame, cylinder and back strap with inspectors initials. One piece wood grips. All meal is sharp and crisp with a blue to gray look. The barrel and the frame has some of the color that was applied by the arsenal. The barrel address is weak. Number match on the frame, back strap, trigger guard and cylinder. Which is unusual. A very good Cavalry revolver that was alter to Artillery.
