Description:
This is a unique revolver in that it's a really early dash 4 629 that still has the square butt frame, older style thumb latch and the older original one piece cardboard box with matching label. Soon after they deleted the square butt and started shiping them in the blue plastic cases. This has the desireable 4" barrel. Even the grip is rare as it is the original "Dual cutout" factory S&W monogram Hogue monogrip. As the pictures indicate, the revolver is in fantastic condition showing very little signs of use. The mechanics are spot on with perfect timing and dead tight lockup on each hole! Excellent example.
