USSR Russian Margolin MCM Pistol, 22 L.R.
5 7/8" barrel. Excellent bore - bright and shinny with no pits. A couple very minor handling marks. Overall condition is very fine to excellent. No cracks, chips, or repairs. Pistol comes with two magazines. 22 cal target pistol designed by the blind engineer Mikhail Margolin and first produced in 1948. It was designed for competitive target shooting, particularly in ISSF standard pistol events and was noted for it's accuracy and innovative feartures, including a rear sight mounted on the frame for greater stability. The pistol was highly successful in its early years, winning gold medals at the 1948 and 1952 Olympics.
