Description:
From a Midwest sale, two Colt Colteer bolt action, single shot, rifles 22 long rifle and 22 magnum caliber. Both rifles have a smooth action with strong hammer springs and good extractors (I test fired both these rifles). Both have 20" round barrels with a dark bore (I have not cleaned these rifles). The action, trigger, and saftey function as they should and are crisp. The receiver and barrel of both rifles have spots of oxidation and finish loss (see photos). The barrel of the 22 lr has an adjustibal vee notch rear sight and a fixed blade front sight. The barrel of the 22 mag has had the sights removed and a 4X Tasco scope mounted to the grooved receiver. The stock and forend of both guns are solid with no cracks or chips; however, there are dents and dings on the wood from years of use. The stock of the 22 lr has a Colt butt plate and the 22 mag has had a recoil pad added. Everything functions as it should and shows normal wear (see photos).
