Description:
This is an early example of Husqvarna's commercial rolling block sporting rifles chambered in 12.7x44R. It IS NOT a cut down M67 military rifle. This example has a scarce 27.25" half round half octagon barrel with very good bore. Finish is grey/brown patina. Three leaf rear sight and adjustable front blade. The receiver utilizes the early screw retainers for block and hammer pins. It has a faceted top. The stocks are about Good, with scratches and dings typical of a rifle that was hunted with. The forestock has a piece missing on right side at receiver and a well executed repair on left front. These rifles are getting harder to find in any condition in this country. Cases can EASILY be made by shortening .50 Alaskan brass. Use .50-70 dies to load after fireforming. $600 + Shipping.
