"Serial Number 606048. Made in 1942 with an 18-inch Saginaw barrel with a bright bore & strong visible rifling. This gun falls outside of of the serial number range of the USGI M1A1 paratrooper carbines but it was eventually paired with a repro M1A1 low wood folding stock. Comes with a milled adjustable rear sight assembly, an Inland marked trigger group, an ""HI"" Type 3 marked hammer, flat bolt, flip safety, an M2 magazine catch & ""AI"" marked Type 3 bayonet lug barrel band. Comes with two USGI 15-round box magazines.
