"Serial number 5434330. Made in 1955 with an October 1954 dated 24-inch Springfield Armory barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Equipped with a high hump gas cylinder lock, a radius cut Springfield op rod & a T105E1 adjustable rear sight assembly made by Druge Bros Mfg. Co. of Oakland, CA. The furniture is in excellent condition with a U.S. Defense Department Acceptance Stamp stock that has a circle non serif P on the pistol grip. This is an overall excellent condition post Korean War era M1 that was sold as a CMP Correct Grade rifle. Comes with a plastic CMP gun case.
