"Serial number 414353. This rifle's receiver was made in November 1941 but it is paired with a July 1947 dated 24-inch Springfield barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Comes with a radius cut Springfield op rod & the T105E1 adjustable rear sight assembly. The receiver has been refinished & the gas cylinder has been painted black.The furniture reveals evidence of handling wear consistent with military service & there is evidence of residue from an adhesive label on the wrist of the stock. Overall condition is good & the firearm is mechanically functional.
