Description:
Boxlocks - Antique damascus barreled W.W. Greener from 1892 featuring the Greener\'s Treble Wedge Fast lock-up and the distinctive side safety. Addressed to their \'St Mary\'s Square, Birmingham\' premises and proudly inscribed \'Winner at All Gun Trials 1875 to 1891\'.
The barrels are surprisingly good for 133 years old. Some of the brown has been worn, but the bores are good and the walls plenty thick. Choked for traditional English high pheasant shooting.
The new owner will need to have a new butt plate or pad fitted. We can recommend a great gunsmith for this.
