Description:
Here is a sweet Ballard Rifle in 22 Cal - extremely good bench competition shooter or just a good plinker to enjoy. Puts the bullet where u want it, if ur a marksman or good shot.   Full octagon barrel.   •    1875–1891: Production was taken over by John Marlin and his company, which became the Marlin Firearms Co. in 1881. This period is known for the high-quality "Marlin-Ballard" rifles.
    •    1891: Production of the Ballard rifle ended, largely due to the declining demand for single-shot rifles as repeating rifles became more popular. - The Ballard No. 3 PG in .22 rimfire was an elegant rifle from a time when gallery target shooting was a popular pastime. (RifleShooter photo) Cant b positive this rifle is the No. 3, but I do know it's a great shooter and a rewarding rifle
