SELDOM SEEN SAVAGE MODEL 1915 HAMMERLESS .380 ACP AUTO PISTOL, #10052B, MADE 1915. This is actually THE 52ND MODEL 1915 MADE as serial numbers began at 10001 and ran to 13900 with only about 3900 of these fine pistols made. Considering Savage made over 24,000 .380s with hammers (M-1907 and M-1917) this was a limited production model made for only one year in 1915. This is a good example that retains good aged blue from handling and holster carry with better blue in all the protected areas and duller blue on the balance. Also some normal gray edge wear etc. Exc. original grips show light handling only. Mechanically excellent with bright sharp bore, both grip and manual safeties work properly. Correct M-1915 magazine marked .380 CAL and all other markings sharp. These rarely turn up and this is one of the first made.
