Description:
"NSN. Made circa 1850s. 41 caliber with a 3" barrel. The barrel has a light gray [patina throughout, but remains sharp with all the markings visible. The top of the barrel is marked is marked “Made For/ Hyde & Goodrich/ AGENTS N. Orleans" The stock is very good with the checkering present showing normal handling use. The lock, upper tang and trigger guard are all engraved. There is a silver escutcheon with initials nicely engraved. Hyde and Goodrich was a dealer for Henry Derringer in New Orleans. They sold many things in addition to firearms. Very neat Southern marked Derringer.!
