Browning Model 1885 High Wall Single Shot Rifle in 45-70 w/box
This is a Browning Model 1885 High Wall Single Shot rifle in 45-70. The metal surfaces have a deep blue finish. It has a Winchester type High Wall action, 28" octagon barrel, buckhorn rear barrel sight and blade front sight, semi-fancy walnut stocks, and factory sling swivels. It comes with a matching factory box.
Condition:
This Browning 1885 Rifle is in excellent condition overall. The metal finish is in excellent condition and shows minor wear from use. The walnut stocks appear to be semi-fancy with good color and figure and only show minor wear. The bore is excellent as well, bright and sharp rifling. This rifle is chambered in hard hitting 45-70 and is capable of handling the heaviest of loads
The matching factory box in fine condition with minor storage wear mostly on the edges.
