Description:
This is a 1944 Winchester M1 Carbine chambered in 30 Carbine with an 18" barrel. The top of the receiver is marked "U.S. CARBINE / CAL. 30 M1" on the front and "WINCHESTER / 5633892" on the rear. The top of the barrel is marked "W". Other features include a Type III magazine release is marked "M" on the face, hammer is marked "W", Trigger guard is marked "W" on the right side rear, push safety marked "EW", flat bolt marked "A.I.", charging handle marked "W". Type 2 unmarked barrel band, front sight is unmarked, 2 rivet upper hand guard marked "H.I.". The Type II rear sight is marked "H in a shield". The walnut stock is marked on the right side "W.R.A. / G.D.H." with crossed cannons. Comes with a reproduction sling and an oiler. Comes with one (Winchester Repeating Arms) "BW" marked 15 round magazine. Serial 5633892. .30 Carbine
