Description:
Up for sale is a great example of these limited production high grade Belgium Browning Auto 5 Shotguns. These were commissioned by Browning in 1970/71 to commemorate the production of the 2,000,000th A-5 shotgun and only 2500 were produced. Each is uniquely numbered, fitted with glossy finish select grade walnut with exceptional fine line checkering, hand engraved and gold inlaid, and finished in a slightly higher luster blue than the standard production guns.
These shotguns in my opinion are often overlooked, a number of these features are quite expensive, time consuming to produce, and usually only found on the highest grade firearms offered by Browning at the time. For example, the only other guns offered with a hand matted rib was Midas and Exhibition Grade Superposed
This particular example has exceptional wood color and figure, most of these shotguns look very nice but this one is a step above the rest. On top of that it is number 520 of the 2500.
The original box is a seldom seen accessory as most people placed them in the display case and tossed the boxes. This example includes both!

Condition:
Pristine, none of the "normal" condition issues with these guns are present on this one. Appears unhandled and factory fired only with grease still present in protected areas!
