Description:
Holland & Holland .300 Rook. Serial 18131 (5x: action, tang, 2x barrel, latch) has a 26.2-inch tapering octagon barrel (.630-inch across the muzzle flats, beaded blade front sight, partially-filed rib, rear sight with one fixed and two folding leafs marked 50/100/150, ejector). Features include a tang safety (automatic, serrated), engraving, horn forend tip (properly repaired hairline), serrated butt plate and steel grip cap. DIMENSIONS: Weight is 5.2 pounds and the length-of-pull is 14.6 inches. CONDITION: The bore is mildly frosted. The barrel is on face and the balance of mechanics solid. Bluing has. browned and thinned to approximately 30 percent. Colors have retreated to trace. Wood is refinished and stands at approximately 90 percent. The initial plate is engraved “AN”. AMMUNITION: Two sealed bricks (400 rounds) of Kynoch 80-grain HP bullets is included. No additional accessories are present. The price is firm and layaway is available.
