Colt M1911A1 in .45 ACP. The M1911A1 is an improved version of the original M1911 that entered service in 1926. The U.S. military procured around 2.7 million M1911 and M1911A1 pistols during its service life. The pistol served as the standard-issue sidearm for the United States Armed Forces from 1911 to 1985. This pistol is in excellent condition with very light finish wear. It comes with one magazine. It is marked United States Property, Serial # 1184291. No box. .45 ACP
