Outstanding example of the very rare 358 caliber Model 70 Featherweight. There were only about 2000 of these ever made and many were recalled, leaving even fewer in circulation. S/N 342721 with matching scribed bolt made in 1955. The condition of metal is nearly flawless, showing 99% original finishes, including the fragile aluminum components of floorplate, trigger guard, and buttplate. Wood is similar, showing only a few very light handling marks, at least 98%. This rifle is correctly configured with a low comb stock, 22K rear sight, and uniquely genuine caliber stamp. Bore is minty, as are the mechanical functions. You won't see many like this one!
