Description:
This is an Ithaca Model 37 16 gauge pre-war gun, serial number 9479, manufactured in 1938. The deep bluing remains in spectacular condition with only two small blemishes on receiver - one on left side bottom edge and one area on top (see pic). Gun has clearly been well taken care of. Receiver screws show no signs of galling or damage. These model 37 stocks are narrow where they meet the receiver and prone to cracking. This original stock shows crack(s) repair where it meets receiver and wood has been refinished. Recoil pad is a period correct reproduction. Barrel is 26" with a Polychoke. Gun is incredibly clean and operates flawlessly. $50 USPS ground shipping in the lower 48 only to your FFL or C&R License holder. 3 day inspection period provided to Buyer from day of pickup with return shipping split 50/50 if necessary.
