Very clean Pre 64 Winchester 70 in .243 Win. caliber. The .243 was one of the later caliber additions to the Pre -64 line, introduced in 1955. Most were made in featherweight, target, or plastic butted standard configurations. Those with steel buttplates are not so easy to find, and this one would make a worthy addition to most any collection.
S/N 348069 with matching scribed bolt made in 1955.
97-98% Blue and Varnish with nicely grained and attractive wood.
24" standard weight barrel with an excellent bore. Excellent mechanical functions.
