I have a Winchester model 1887 lever action 12 gauge shotgun. This 87 was manufactured in 1892 and is in good condition. The metal is smooth and the wood is original. The lever action is still very tight and functions properly. There is a small bulge on the bottom side of the barrel about 6" from the muzzel. Not noticeable by eye, but you can feel it with your hand. Other than that, the shotgun is in great condition and would go good with any collection
