This is an older Husqvarna Model 640, cal.8mm, S.N.#83132
This is a commercial Husqvarna Mauser featuring controlled feed,a checkered walnut stock with 23" barrel with a shiny bore and strong rifling. The checkered walnut stock has the normal nicks and dings, but NO cracks or scrapes.Just honest wear from years of use, used but not abused. The oil finish on the wood is good.Bluing on the metal is good except where the front sight is missing and metal shows thru the black epoxy, easily remided (see picture). Scope on the rifle is a Weaver K6-C3 which is bright and clear. Action is smooth and locks up tight. This is stll a good serviable hunting rifle in a verstitile caliber.
