Description:
Savage Model 5, no serial #, circa 1935 to pre-war. Features a checked walnut stock, blued 24" barrel with hooded front sight and tubular magazine which shoots short,long or long rifle interchangeably. Rear sights consists of a peep with several apertures and an adjustable rear sight. This rifle is a good shooter that has accounted for may squirrels and rabbits, I wish they still made rifles of this quality. Condition I would say is very good considering its age, no loss of bluing, wood has no cracks or scrapes, just minor indention from handling through the years. Condition I would rate very good. Please ask your questions before purchase.
