A copy of the original sales invoice accompanies this incredibly rare K-32 confirming the configuration and detailing its original shipment on May 9, 1966 to Gene Taylor in Davenport, Iowa. The gun is equipped with the very rarely seen original 4” barrel, original bright blue finish, red ramp front sight, white outline rear sight and checkered walnut diamond target stocks. Advanced collectors are aware that across all post-war K-32 production fewer than 25 examples with a 4” barrel are known to exist. This is among the rarest post-war K frame variants extant! The gun remains in wonderful virtually as-new condition retaining 99%+ of the original bright blue finish. The bore and cylinder chambers are mint and the mechanical working order is flawless. A must-own Model 16-2 that can never be duplicated, let alone upgraded.
