The Calico M951 is a semi-automatic carbine (rifle) known for its distinctive, large-capacity helical magazine that mounts on top of the firearm. It is chambered in 9mm and uses a roller-delayed blowback action. Key Features & Specifications Caliber: 9x19mm Parabellum. Action: Roller-delayed blowback system, which contributes to low recoil. Magazine: Proprietary top-mounted helical magazine available in 50 or 100-round capacities, a key feature of the Calico system. Barrel Length: Typically 16 inches, though some sources mention up to 17 inches. Ejection: Spent cartridges are ejected downward, ahead of the trigger guard, making it easy to fit a case catcher.
