Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer the classic M1 Garand. This rifle epitomizes American industrial might and “The Greatest Battle implement ever devised”. Made famous for its role as, the American service rifle of the Second World War and the Korean War, and its iconic “PING!” after emptying its magazine. This Garand, serial number 1260214, was manufactured by Winchester Repeating Arms Company in 1942. Post war this warrior was refurbished at the Red River Arsenal Depot and the action dated 1964. This rifle was then upgraded by the CMP with a ‘as new’ Springfield Armory trigger group, a beautiful all matching walnut stock and a brand-new barrel dated 2024. Since its upgrade this gun has not been shot. It proudly features a 10/10 mirror bore, 99% parkerized barrel, receiver, and trigger group. This M1 comes with a period correct sling, so you can throw it over your shoulder on the way back from the range.
