For sale is a very nice Gallyon 12 Guage side by side Shotgun , mirror bores, 28" nitro proof barrels, double trigger, ejector shotgun.
The Gallyon is in excellent condition, both the barrels and the furnitire, Stock and forearm furniture are blemish free with
no scratches or dents what-so-ever. Pad at end of stock in very giood shape. Release lever centered when barrels are
closed. Ejectors are strong and eject shells as new. The action is still very tight. Engraving on sidelocks are strong
and very visible. No cast to stock. Tight lock up. Initial plate not marked. Serial Number located on Barrel Flats, Stock and forearm. Barrel flats
marked .729 British Niotro Proof. Engraving on receiver in very good shape as shown. To repeat again the Gallon is in very good condition.
It has been in my collection of English Doubles and not used but only test fired when purchased and recently when getting
ready for sale. I have only used low compression shells such as RST, Eley and Armusa when using my vintage shotguns.
Owning a Gallyon shotgun is a good idea for those seeking a high quality classic British shotgun that combines
traditional craftsmanship with modern preformance features. A vintage Gallyon (pre 1974) offers the aestheic and artistic
auality of handmade British guns. Gallyon are handmade and characterized by extensive handwork with craftsman finishing
each part of the shotgun. I apolopgise for some of the photos with hand and thumb prints on the barrels.
I am thinning out my collection as I am at the age of 75 and no longer hunt or use my collection for shooting. The
photos taken show just how nice this Gallyon is and may look better in person. Please ask any questions and for
additional photos if needed. The Gallyon qualifies for a C&R FFL license holder or can be shipped to a FFL of your choice.
