Description:
26 inch octagon barrel chambered in 32 WS (Winchester Special) caliber with a bright shiny excellent bore. Sights include a German silver blade front and the Smokeless 32 WS M'94 rear. Most thinning barrel blue remains with slight edge wear to the corners. Clear markings. Half length magazine. Receiver also retains most thinning blue with the high points turning gray with some light scratches. Several buggered screws. Loading gate has some nitre blue remaining. Hammer and lever have some traces of case colors. Crisp functioning action. Straight grain walnut stocks are in good condition with the usual handling and usage mars with a rifle style crescent buttplate. Comes with an old Cody research form stating the configuration and 1905 manufacture date.
