Description:
26 inch octagon barrel chambered in 38-55 caliber with a very good bright shiny bore. Sights include a German silver blade front and sporting rear. Barrel and full length magazine tube retain most all thinning blue with some edge wear and a spot that has been cleaned. Receiver also has most blue. Good nitre blue on the loading gate. Traces of case colors remain on the hammer and lever with the balance turning brown. Walnut stocks are overall good condition with an added coat of finish. Rifle style crescent buttplate is a gray patina. Nice crisp functioning action. This Winchester was made in 1908.
