Description:
A Colt model Woodsman in good shape overall. The finish is in good shape overall, with some scratching on the outside of the barrel and some wear on the raised edges of the frame. There are a few specks of surface rust on the left side of the frame all the way towards the rear on the beavertail. The wood grip panels are in very nice shape overall. The bore is in very good shape, with good rifling and a bright bore. This pistol comes with one ten-round magazine. This pistol seems to be a second series gun that was, at one point, sent back to Colt for a repair and refinish. This pistol did receive a "Third series" type of slide and sight assembly when it was repaired by the factory. The frame seems to have been refinished at one point, presumably by Colt, as the Colt stallion logo is lighter towards the top of the frame. The sides of the frame are finished in a semi-gloss blue while the front and backstrap are a more matte. The customer this was purchased from did verbally confirm that the original owner did send this pistol back to Colt for repair at one point.
