Description:
* This CVA rarelky found in ,54 cal SB. With a serial #556156, and .54 cal, with 28” octagon heavy 1" barrel with a bright excellent bore. Interestingly, this .54 caliber Spanish-made CVA Hawken is smoothbore and retains about 95% original blue with some mild thinning and oxidation speckling. The lockplate shows good case-hardened colors with scattered oxidation and the brass hardware is a mild ocher patina. The hardwood stock is very fine from the sanding whell at the factory, but harly noticible, and with some scattered light handling marks and features a shallow left-side cheekpieceJust behind the lockplate is a very thin line from the sanding. The rifle is sighted with an adjustable square-notch rear sight and general beaded blade front. The lock with double set triggers seems to function normally. N ot commonly found.
