Description:
Standard 20 inch round barrel carbine configuration chambered in 44 WCF caliber with a good bore that has scattered roughness throughout and visible rifling. Sights include a barleycorn front with a folding ladder carbine rear. Barrel and magazine tube are a brown color with good markings. Receiver is a brown/gray color with some scattered patches of light pitting. Original saddle ring. Hammer and lever have a hint of case color. Walnut stocks are in good condition with some oil staining. Mechanically it functions fine. The 520k serial range shows it was made in 1898. No cleaning rod in the butt. A decent example of "The Gun That Won The West".
