Aero Precision M5 – 308 Win – 18" Barrel – Geissele Trigger - Vortex Scope – Lots Of Extras
If you were going to start from scratch and build an incredibly nice AR-10, chances are that you’d include a lot of the items that are in this rifle. Our consignment rifle has an Aero Precision upper and lower (serial # US36976) and that’s just the beginning.
The barrel is an 18 inch ballistic advantage Hanson SS barrel. These barrels are generally considered to be high-value, accurate and lightweight. The barrel has the ability to make your shots sub-MOA as long as the shooter had the ability to shoot that well. The barrel ends with a Surefire muzzle brake and detachable Surefire blast warden. 308 Win is a great round but your buddies that are shooting with you will appreciate that blast warden. Actually, so will you!
The M-LOK rail is a 15.5 inch version from Odin. Additional picatinny rails are already mounted at 3:00 and 6:00. The charging handle is a BCM Gunfighter. The multi-position stock is a Troy .308 PDW.
The trigger is a Geissele ssa-e. It feels absolutely amazing and makes us want to rethink our policy about test firing our consignment firearms. It’s incredibly smooth and light. Something tells me that if you put very rounds through this rifle, you’d never want to go back to a milspec trigger again!
Mounted on the picatinny rail is a Vortex Crossfire II 3-12x56 scope with an illuminated reticle. The illumination and magnification adjustments work as they should. The glass and the reticle are both clear and sharp. The exterior of the scope is in Excellent condition as well.
We would describe the entire rifle as Near Mint. The bore is minty, the barrel is bright and has good rifling. The cerakote finish is Near Mint. It’s just a beautiful rifle!
This rifle sure looks great but, with this trigger, this barrel and this optic, we bet that it shoots as good as it looks. Well worth the money and ready for you to take it right to the range or on a hunt.
