Savage Arms" Axis XP bolt-action rifle offers a modern entry-level hunting rifle chambered in .243 Winchester. The matte- blued 22-inch carbon-steel barrel delivers accuracy while the black synthetic stock provides a lightweight platform. The rifle features sleek contours, soft recoil pad vents and textured grip surfaces for comfort. Its receiver is drilled and tapped and comes fitted with a factory-mounted and boresighted 3?9x40 mm Weaver scope, eliminating the need for separate optics installation. It uses a smooth bolt action with a detachable 4-round magazine. The Axis XP weighs about 7.3 lb and is well-suited for deer hunting.
