C. Maybury (Birmingham) percussion howdah pistol. Features include 8.5-inch Damascus barrels (.855-inch muzzle diameter, .665-inch bore diameter, bead), and a trapdoor grip gap. Weight is 3.0 pounds. No case is present. CONDITION: Bores are brown with moderate roughness. Barrel finish is approximately 30 percent over areas of light pitting and tarnish. Colors and polished blue have silvered with light tarnish. Mechanics are solid. The price is firm and layaway is available. $2,750 plus shipping.
