Manufactured in West Germany during the 1960s–1970s partnership between Savage and J.G. Anschutz, the Model 54 Sporter is renowned for its precision, craftsmanship, and smooth single-shot bolt action based on the Anschutz 54 match-grade system. This example is like new old stock and includes a Leupold M8-4x Compact scope, known for its crystal-clear optics and light handling. Metal and bluing are excellent, wood finish is near flawless, and bore condition is outstanding. A highly collectible and accurate rimfire rifle for target shooting or small game hunting.
