Description
Offered for sale is an excellent example of the SKB Model 100, one of the most respected and durable Japanese-built side-by-side shotguns ever imported. This shotgun was made during SKB’s prime manufacturing era and marked "Ithaca Gun Co., Inc. – Made in Japan", reflecting their partnership before SKB began direct U.S. distribution.
This Model 100 features 28" barrels with factory IC/MOD fixed chokes, making it an ideal upland, sporting clays, or field gun. The barrels retain rich blueing, and the “Roto-Forged” construction is known for its exceptional strength and barrel regulation.
The engraving pattern is classic SKB—clean scrollwork on the receiver and tang with tight, crisp metal fit all around. The wood shows beautiful figure with clean checkering and some honest field marks. The forend iron fits tightly, and all serial numbers match.
Internally, the action is tight, the lever sits right of center, and the lock-up is classic SKB: solid and precise.
Overall, this is a great-shooting, high-quality SxS that outperforms many guns at twice the price.
This shotgun was repaired on the top of the grip. Done very well, glued and pined.
