"Serial number G4092. Made in June 1940 as a standard MAS-36 rifle with a 22.64-inch barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. In 1957 it was converted to a MAS-36/51 through the installation of a strengthened barrel, a 22mm NATO standard rifle grenade launcher & folding grenade sight assembly. Overall condition is excellent with a dull gray phosphate across the metallic parts & handsome beechwood furniture. A faint Century Arms import mark can be found on the left side of the receiver. Comes with a rubber butt pad & a French military surplus leather sling.
