"Serial number 4741132. Made with a July 1943 dated 24-inch Smith-Corona barrel that has a bright bore with strong visible rifling. Overall condition is very good with a layer of what appears to be black enamel paint covering the receiver, the upper barrel band & the last 3.5-inches of the barrel itself. Outside of that, the condition is not bad at all with a particularly handsome walnut stock & matching handguard. A nice entry-level 03A3 made by one of the companies that produced typewriters & adding machines before they became gunmakers as a result of the mobilization of the American economy during World War II.
