Guns by Sally-always the best for less. We are extremely proud to off this stunning example of Browning's classic Superposed shotgun, decked out in Diana Grade trim. I must say, there is a possibility that this gun has not been fired since leaving the factory. The action is tight, there are about no signs of firing on the standing breach, and there are none of the telltale scrape marks forward of the forend on the barrels. Made in the year of our Lord 1969, she is in marvelous condition for being 56 years old. The blue is rich and deep, the highly figured walnut is nearly flawless, the stampings are sharp and clear, and the engraving by Jules Lewanczyk is superb.The lever resides well to the right of center. She will handle 3 inch shells, and the factory chokes are still full and improved modified, as marked. Ejectors toss the empties with authority, and the single trigger is fully selective. We rarely see a Browning factory butt plate in this category, but this one is intact and creates an LOP of 14 inches. She is a pleasure to hold and point. If you have been looking for the right Superposed to collect, for investment, or a truly classic hunt, but want the added clout of a Diana Grade small bore, then look no further. I see similar guns priced all the way up to 20 grand. This one will list at less than half that figure.
