Jean Tanazacq knife collection of forty-three exquiste knives dating from 1978 to 2010. Many are prototypes, some comes with original sketches and paperwork, over 28 knives comes with original provenance and record sheets in French language.The collection Includes: diving, hunting, caper, fighter, combat models, skinning,camp/survival/fighter, hunting dagger aka "Pig Sticker", "Warrior's Blade," extremely scarce survival knife Bavi 2, Rambo I & Rambo 2, Tanazacq's Legionnaire dagger mode, MK2, WWII, fish, fillet knives, one of a kind large carving knife with a 13-1/4-inch blade, comes with wooden stand and python covered sheath, and "plain" polished brown leather on the back, all line of Troncay models, Natchez Bowie one of only 2 ever produced, etc..... All knives in an absolute pristine,immacuclate, new, mint condition. All contained in very beautifully handcrafted leather scabbard. Each knife can be had separately. Some knives have two scabbards , while some comes with wood-lined sheath covered with green salmon skin. Note: Tanazacq was offering wood-lined sheath long before Bill Moran did. Many knives are "VINTAGE" pieces meaning they have the scarce two markings on blades; Map of France and the iconic wild boar, while many have four markings on blades; Jean Tanazacq across the ricasso, Map of France, town and zip code (early late 70's models), some have 3 markings on blades , all original scarce models,. is an exceptional knife collection, the largest of its kind in the U.S.A. and France. The more expensive models comes with Special Limited Numered Collectors' Edtion book on Tanazacq (only 12 were printed).
