Very sharp standard weight rifle in the somewhat scarce .264 Winchester Magnum caliber which made up just over 4% of total production.
S/N 477348 with matching bolt made in 1960.
Outstanding Blue showing 99%. Varnish is 98% with some widely scattered and very light handling marks. There is a small gouge at the top margin of R side forend checkering panel.
26" Stainless steel barrel with an excellent bore and throat. All mechanical functions are working smoothly and properly.
The barrel channel is original and tight fitting with no routing, glass bedding, nor any other issues.
Standard LOP of 13 5/8" to a perfectly installed Pachmayr recoil pad which has the appearance of factory work, but if so, would have been special ordered on a standard weight rifle.
A really clean and beautiful rifle in another smokin' hot caliber.
