Made in Philadelphia (maker's name is illegible), it has a 40.5-inch octagon barrel (.985-inch muzzle diameter, blade front sight, drift-adjustable rear sight). Brass accents include the end cap, guides, guard, box, butt and accents. Weight is 10.6 pounds. CONDITION: The bore is quite bright and appears absent to all but a hint of roughness. Mechanics operate properly. Metal is browned with pitting showing at the muzzle, on the barrel base near the lock and over the lock plate. Stock is solid. The price is firm and layaway is available.
