Holiday Special Classic Stevens Favorite .22 Rifle
- Offered her for sale and just acquired along with a fine collection of firearms is this classic Stevens Favorite .22 single shot rifle. With 22” barrel, sleek takedown design and beautiful case colors on receiver this was a very popular rifle on the market for over 50 years.
- It. the “Favorite” was a small-bore, single-shot, falling-block (swing/tilting-block) rifle produced by Stevens Arms (and later under Savage Arms) — a rifle that was often a “youth” or “boys’ rifle,” but also used for small game, plinking, and varmint hunting.
In excellent condition it has just a minor bruise/chip right side of buttstock adjacent to receiver. This occurred a very long time ago.
