Description:
This is an Original Austrian Mannlicher M1895 Carbine and Short Rifle Bayonet with Muzzle Ring Sight & Scabbard in very good condition, the original 9 5/8" bright finish blade, with very little oxidation or damage of any kind. The ricasso is marked with an A inside a circle and the guard is marked E 8098. There is some light wear on the wooden grip scales. The steel scabbard was originally blued, but then painted green, a very common color used during WWI to repaint scabbards. This is now mostly worn away, and there is very little denting of any kind on the scabbard.;
