Winchester Model 1892 serial number 713917 serial number applied on June 19, 1913. This Winchester 1892 is in excellent condition purchased for my collection from a dealer( provenance from Huston Texas). I searched for one that was in excellent condition for quite a while before I found this one. I always tell my friends that this one looks like it came from LBJ's Gun Locker.. Manufactured in 1913, Bore is in excelent condition. Action works perfectly. Barrel and Mag. Tube has approxamatly 93%-95% Original Blue. Receiver has approxmatly 80%-85% Blue. Stocks are Very Good plus with 95% Varnish origanal. Very nice representation of a Model 1892 in .38-40 calabier. Very accurate shooter shot 100 rounds through it in the last five years in Northern Michigan. I will ship this with the shown gun case represented in the picture along with Historical letter from Winchester records Cody Firearms Museum, Cody, Wyoming. I also have 6 Boxes 50 rounds per box of Black Hills.38-40 amunition unopened that will be included in the sale. Must ship to a FFL Dealer. S150.00 for shipping
