This 1980 Colt Python 6" .357 Magnum is an exceptional example of Colt's finest craftsmanship, presented in amazing condition. Finished in Colt’s deep, polished royal blue and fitted with the desirable factory Elliason adjustable rear sight & front sight, this Python appears unfired and extremely well preserved for its age.
The 6" barrel provides excellent balance for both precision shooting and display, while the Elliason sight system offers precise elevation and windage adjustments as originally designed for Colt’s premium revolvers. The cylinder face, bolt notches, and forcing cone show no evidence of firing, and the bluing retains its mirror-like finish with no visible wear.
Mechanically, the action is tight, timing is correct, and the lock-up is firm — exactly what collectors expect from a true NOS Python.
