Description: Lang (London) percussion sets of .54 caliber double barrel carriage pistols and .45 caliber turn-barrel pistols. CARRIAGE: Barrels are 3.5-inches (Damascus, smoothbore, .695-inch muzzle diameter, .540-inch bore diameter, bead). Features include hammer safeties, engraving, polished & niter blue accents, and trapdoor grip caps. Individual weight is 1.6 pounds. CONDITIONS: Bores are browned with mild roughness. Mechanics are solid. Barrel brown is approximately 80 percent. Colors are but a trace with some light tarnish. Polished blue is approximately 40 percent. Niter is approximately 50 percent. TURN-BARRELS: Barrels are 1.5-inches (smoothbore, .695-inch across the flats, .455-inch bore diameter, threaded). Features include hammer safeties and folding triggers (niter blue). Barrels are numbered to each frame. Individual weight is 7 ounces. CONDITIONS: Number “0” has a bright bore with traces of brown. Number “1” bore has browning and moderate roughness. Both colors are approximately 20 percent, niter is approximately 70 percent and both mechanics and wood are solid.
