Westley Richards pair percussion pistols. Features include 7.5-inch barrels (Damascus, smoothbore, .965-inch across the muzzle flats, .663-inch bore diameter, sights), trumpeting elephant hammers, hammer safeties and trapdoor grip caps. Individual weight is 2.2 pounds. CONDITION: Bores are relatively bright with some browning and spots of mild roughness. Metal finishes are possibly refreshed. Hammers/triggers operate properly. Hammer safeties do not fully engage. Brown is approximately 80 percent with spots of tarnish and roughness near muzzles. Colors are approximately 50 percent. Polished blue is approximately 30 percent. As refinished, wood is approximately 70 percent. CASE: The maker's case (with label) includes a number of accessories. Lock does not work with included key and the case does not properly accommodate the included bullet mold. The price is firm and layaway is available. $4,250 plus shipping.
